ATP Live Rankings

Just a few changes in the ATP Live Rankings after the Australian Open first week. Rafael Nadal is still the leader. Beating Diego Schwartzman in the fourth round, the Spaniard guaranteed him to retain his top position also after the first Grand Slam of the year, regardless of Roger Federer's result.

Considerating that in March the Swiss will try to defend his titles at Indian Wells and Miami, and that he is unsure about playing the clay-court season, Nadal has many chances to remain the world no. 1 for the next couple of months.

Grigor Dimitrov and Alexander Zverev are still ranked third and fourth in the world respectively. Zverev will be passed by Marin Cilic if the Croatian defeats Nadal in the quarter-final.

All the other five top ten players members are already out, including Dominic Thiemwho dropped one place in favour of Cilic. Novak Djokovic is 13th and his ranking won't improve after his loss: he would have returned in the top 10 by reaching semifinals.

Tomas Berdych could be 11th by beating Federer in the quarter-final, the Czech has already gained four places. Milos Raonic is 29th. Fabio Fognini is closer to the top-20, while Hyeon Chung is 44th (+14 than previous rankings).
