Manager Gabriel Markaj had this to say about the departing Johnson:
"Despite my disappointment, in behalf of the club we want to thank Freeman for this service last season and we do understand that having a young family, the main focus in life changes to different things and not just football. On a personal note I wish him and his family all the best and I hope to see him around at the club in the near future."
"We will consider our options and start looking what options are available and make a decision from there. We do have some young goalkeepers coming thru that we want to work with but they are still a few years away from being the number 1 choice GK in a First Team, so we will make sure we sign someone in the next 2-3 weeks."
