The WHSL playoffs use a 16-team single-elimination format similar to a bracket in the NCAA basketball tournament.
Teams shall be seeded for the playoffs by the following factors: (1) winning percentage; (2) head-to-head record against teams with the same winning percentage; (3) runs allowed per game. Teams tied after the preceding three factors will be separated by flipping a coin.
Once the playoffs begin, the bracket is set. Teams will not be "reseeded" after each round of the tournament.
