Let's first thank Joel for throwing 176 pitches while the defense behind him booted, missed, dropped, and overthrew nearly every batted ball. To put up with that while still going 3-for-6 and driving in four runs is quite a feat.
Next we should thank Seth for catching all three hours of the game. To do that while also going 4-for-4 with a walk and 2 RBI may be even more impressive than what Joel did.
The rest of us took advantage of Rye's defensive and pitching struggles. The most accurate way to describe today's game is "We sucked a bit less than they did." Stats are up here.
Next week we play a very solid KTI team at our home field.
