Rain-Shortened Win

We were again playing our typical low-scoring game. We allowed one run in the second inning on two walks and an error, but had otherwise held CSI scoreless. In the bottom of the fourth, Josh Rubin blooped a single, Steve Hazan boomed a triple and Steve Harelick knocked a sac fly to give us a 2-1 lead. Otherwise, we'd been held scoreless.
Today all those quick innings worked in our favor. When the passing thunderstorm left Gedney unplayable, we'd already completed the top of the fifth, making it an official game and giving us an unusual win.
