Need More Players

It is tough to win with nine guys. Last week we scratched out a 2-1 victory playing three outfielders across, but against WJC that didn't work. It was frustrating to watch pop-ups that would probably be caught with a full outfield, drop in because we could not cover all that room.
Danny and Marc together had five hits, but the 8, 9 and leadoff spots did not drive them in, going a combined 1-for-11.
Bottom line: We are a good team with all our players, but it's been a struggle to get even nine the last couple weeks.
