We almost hit into a triple play, but those aren't the good triples. The good triples came off the bats of Mike Katz, Josh and Steve, first breaking a tie and then breaking the game wide open.
It's a softball cliche that you need to hit the ball "down and hard" to win. Today we made only five of our 24 outs through the air, driving the ball on the ground and forcing our opponents to make tough plays.
