Another 3-1 Putout

I am certain that I've never seen a softball game with so many ground balls fielded by a first baseman and flipped to the pitcher covering. Sometimes the first baseman doesn't pick up the grounder cleanly or else the pitcher is too slow getting to first base. But today Jeffrey and Joel performed that ballet four times. Great job by them keeping runners off the bases.

On the offensive side, the lineup's top and middle was not clutch this morning but the bottom continues to mash, this time with Marc smoking a triple and Danny H. jacking his second quadrangular of the season in only five at-bats.

Let's keep up the great playing next Sunday.

Stats are up here.
