With our win today we're again tied for the league's best record at 6-1. We jumped out early on a clutch two-out hit by Daniel Rubin and quickly extended the lead thanks to a three-hit day by Jeffrey and a couple of sac flies by Marc.
Joel pitched 6 innings of shutout ball and Steve went three, allowing only one run, for his third save of the year. Both pitchers were helped by sterling defense. Jay ran a half-marathon to catch a couple of long foul balls and David made a sweet tag at the plate to keep First Hebrew off the board in the fourth.
Next week we travel to Tarrytown.
