Rainouts Keep Coming

Last Sunday, May 15, marks the second week out of four that the Westchester Hebrew Softball League has seen its entire slate of games washed out by rain.

We're not the only league that's been so affected. Major League Baseball has already seen 26 rainouts. That's more than all of 2010, when just 21 games couldn't be played on their scheduled date.

Like MLB, the WHSL requires all games to be replayed. Managers need to schedule make-up games -- either as part of 7-inning doubleheaders or during a convenient time during the week. Any game not played by season's end counts as a forfeit for both teams, so please do your best to get these games in.
