UPDATE: Maccabi USA Fastpitch Softball Tryout

Please check out this updated message from the chairman of Maccabi USA Men's Softball. ** Two weeks to experience . . . a lifetime to remember! Maccabi USA will be sending Open and a Masters (35+) Men's fastpitch softball teams to the 19th World Maccabiah Games in Israel in July 2013. The teams will be chosen following national tryouts to be held on the West and East Coasts in June and July of this year. For the first time ever, the East Coast tryout will be held in New York -- on Randall's Island, on Sunday, July 1, beginning at 1:00 PM. This is the perfect opportunity for WHSL players to try out immediately following their scheduled games on July 1.
We will meet at the Tennis Center on Randall's Island, in front of the concession stand, beginning at 12:30, and will aim to start the tryout at 1:00 PM. There will be a major fastpitch tournament taking place at Randall's Island that day, so please try to arrive early to find parking, register, stretch, etc.
It all begins with an application! Go to maccabiusa.com today, and follow the links to apply on-line for a chance to represent the USA at the next Maccabiah Games in Israel. Imagine yourself wearing a USA jersey, and playing fastpitch softball against the best Jewish ballplayers from Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela, Panama and Israel!
