Three scheduling notes, two mundane and one unique.
First, two games scheduled for May 20 were postponed due to teams missing players who were at graduation ceremonies:
The game between First Hebrew and CSI was postponed at CSI's request. First Hebrew will try to find a date that works for a doubleheader.
The game between TINR and WJC was postponed at TINR's request. WJC will try to find a date that works for a doubleheader.
Now on to the exciting news. The June 3 game between Woodlands and Greenburgh will be played at Provident Bank Ballpark in Pomona, home of the Can-Am League's Rockland Boulders.
The WHSL game will start shortly after the 2pm minor-league game finishes. Tickets for the minor-league game entitle you to watch both the Boulders and the WHSL contest. If you prefer, you can show up around 4:30pm, let the box office know you're there to watch softball, and you should be able to walk right in.
If you would like to buy a $10 ticket for the 2pm game, please contact Gary Nadel of Greenburgh at gnadel@verizon.net.
