A Happy Mother's Day
Michelle said in the eighth inning that if we didn't close out today's game, it wouldn't be a happy Mother's Day because we'd be angry having blown a 6-2 lead. Thanks to the benefit of a few close calls by the umpire, it didn't come to that.
Both sides made plenty of errors, but we got a few more clutch outfield catches from Marc, Steve and Josh. We also got a typical tremendous pitching performance from Joel, and multiple-hit games from Danny, Joel and Steve.
