LAST FEW WEEKS LEFT

Hello everyone,
We are on the last 4 weeks of our winter season, and I'd like to give you a quick report on things happening at LFL.
LFL continuing growing
In the last 2 weeks we have gotten a group of new members registered to different programs and more players continue reaching out about joining.
A great part of our growing is thanks to your recommendations and leads to new players. We greatly appreciate your support!
LFL at FIFA
Our LFL staff member Lauren Omholt was called again to the Mexico U20 Women's National team camp in Mexico city from February 10th-15th.
Lauren is one of the few U18 players called to this camp. She is trying to get a spot on the roster for the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup to play later this year in Colombia.

Lauren played last year in the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup in India representing Mexico. She was BIG10 All Freshman team Honoree in the last season playing for Purdue.
She will join us back after the camp, and she will continue working refereeing games and at some of our training sessions.

We are cheering for Lauren to make the Mexico WNT roster for the FIFA U20 World Cup.

LFL at ODP
Some of our players were chosen to represent Indiana at the Olympic Development Program (ODP).
Piper Burke, Marinda Thompson, Stella Smosna from the LFL U14 Girls Elite team and Brandon Beaman from the U12 Del Real Auto Sales team will play at the ODP Interregional Showcase on February 17th-19th on Memphis Tennessee.
We wish you the best of luck on your games!
LFL on TV reality show
Our LFL Ambassador Patricio "Pato" Araujo has been participating in the TV reality show "Exatlon" since November. The show is aired in Mexican channels. Pato and his wife Zudi were going to spend the winter with us coaching at our programs but a call from Exatlon changed the plans.
Pato recently got a concussion during one of his challenges, he just came back to compete after some days of rest. We are hoping to have him back to LFL this summer.
LFL programs
For the last couple of weeks we have been implementing passing activities in the training sessions. Before that, we've been working on dribbling techniques, ball mastery and activities to get players comfortable with the ball at their feet. I've seen a lot of improvements in players dribbling skills, now our focus is on passing and control along with combination plays for U12 and older.

For these last few weeks left of winter training we are going to push players harder, demand more from them and hoping that they play with more intensity at the games.

Try to make as many of the training sessions as possible, it is the final stretch.
Thanks,
