Mount Eliza Soccer Club (MESC) is proud to present the Mount Eliza Soccer School (MESS) shaped by our Technical Director Kerry Recchia who brings methodology from AC Milan, Melbourne City and years of experience from technical direction, coach mentoring, scouting & player modelling.

MESS is a purpose built development program created exclusively for MESC members. This program represents a major investment from MESC to deliver the highest-quality learning experience in and for our community on the Mornington Peninsula. 

Every participant will have a clear pathway learning from an independant coach in small groups with capped numbers utilising a menocycle (multi-week learning) block used by top academies across Europe & South America focusing on 

• A specific technical or tactical theme
• Planned progression from week to week
• Repetition with purposeful variation
• Player improvement measured over time

This is designed for real development.

Every decision in this program places the player's learning, safety, confidence and enjoyment first!

In Term 2, we will introduce our Advanced Program, designed for selected players who may benefit from a more challenging and specialised training environment beyond our current Soccer School sessions. Player identification has been ongoing since Week 6, with selection based not only on technical ability, but also on game understanding, maturity, and behaviour.

 

This program will run as a second session at 7:30pm and will be tailored for players from Under 11 onwards. Participation is by invitation only, with selected players receiving an email with invitation to join directly from the club.

 

We understand that development in football is not linear, and players progress at different rates. This initial group represents those who are currently ready for an additional challenge, but it does not define long-term potential. Our commitment remains to the development of every player within the program, and future opportunities will continue to open as players grow and evolve.

This will be an 10 week program running every Wednesday 22 April to 24 June
