TYSA POLICIES

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY

I understand that I am representing the Tioga Youth Sports Association and will obey all bylaws during this

season. Any person that does not abide by the bylaws will be removed from the association for the time of not

less than one year. THERE WILL BE NO PROFANITY LANUAGE OR DISRESPECT TOWARD ANY COACH, REFEREE,

OR COMMISSIONERS. THERE WILL BE NO FIGHTING OR UNSPORTSMANLIKE BEHAVIOR FROM PLAYERS,

COACHES, OR PARENTS.

TYSA PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT

TYSA PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT 1. I will demonstrate good sportsmanship regardless of the score by acting in

a positive manner towards all players, officials, parents, and coaches. 2. I will be an encouragement to all

players on all teams regardless of score. 3. I will place my child’s emotional and physical well-being ahead of my

own personal desire to win. 4. I will not use drugs, tobacco or alcohol at any TYSA practices or games. 5. I will

remember that my child is involved in organized sports for their enjoyment, NOT MINE. 6. I will show respect to

all referees, officials or umpires and never act in a manner that would be disrespectful toward them. 7. I will

accept the results of each game. Encourage my child to be gracious in victory and to turn defeat into victory by

working towards improvement. 8. I will teach my child that honest effort is as important as victory so that the

result of each game is accepted without undue disappointment. 9. I will be a role model for my team

demonstrating how to treat other players, parents, officials, and coaches with respect at all times. I will not

harass, abuse, disrespect, or cause a disturbance against any board members, coaches, players, or officials. 10. I

will NOT approach my child’s coach directly before, during or after a game. I will wait 24 hours before

addressing my concerns. 11. For any escalation of problems or concerns please address to the appropriate

commissioner and/or president of TYSA.

LIABILITY CLAUSE

I’ the parent/guardian of the registrant, minor, agree that I and the registrant will abide by the rules of the Tioga

Youth Sports Association. I hereby release, discharge, and/or otherwise indemnify Tioga Youth Sports

Association, its affiliated organizations or sponsors, their employees, and associated personnel, including the

owners of the utilized facility.

CONCENT FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT

As the parent/guardian of _______________________________________, I hereby give consent for

emergency medical care prescribed by a duly licensed Doctor of Medicine or dentistry. This car
