GGSL Spring 2026 - 8U

8U Division - 11in balls; Coaches Pitch with player pitch as an option on occasion from 35 feet - must be 8 years old or younger as of 8/31/25 (6U eligible players will be asked to demonstrate their skills before being allowed to move up into the 8U division) - Games will be played against other local 8U teams: Tri-Central, Northwestern, Russiaville, Tipton, etc. Teams will travel to local leagues to play as well as play in Greentown. - Week day games/practices (NO WEEKENDS except for Saturday winter work outs that are optional Jan.- Mar.) - Average team size to facilitate individualized instruction from coaches; Approx. 11-12 players per team - 8U focuses on basic softball skills and works towards developing them as softball players. It is recommended that players interested in pitching begin developing that skill in this division.
