DSL strives to make a welcoming and safe community for folks of all backgrounds and skill levels to be able to play, make friends, and stay healthy. All we require is good sportsmanship.

Competitive (formerly known as DASL)
Recreational (formerly known as DRSL)

Competitive Program

Formerly known as the Duluth Amateur Soccer League (DASL), this is a more advanced co-ed league where all players are required to possess great skill, and expect a competitive season. We operate one season a year, "championship-style," with a winning team at the end of each season.

Recreational Program:

Formerly known as the Duluth Recreational Soccer League (DRSL), we push for a culture of inclusion and enjoyment over one of serious competition and higher expectations of skill.

We intentionally don't have play-offs for this reason.

2026 Recreational Programs:
35+ women/ 40+ men Co-ed Rec
Where the wise rule. Our most seasoned players show the young'uns how it’s done.
Co-ed Rec
Guys and gals play side by side at a recreational pace. Open to all adults.
Women’s Rec
Laid back play for gals only, focusing on the enjoyment of play.

Women’s and Co-ed Rec

For the diehard ladies who want to play on two teams - one in the women's program, and one in the co-ed program.
2026 Seasons:
Winter: Indoor
Half-field, soft rubber pitch, 7v7, sub on the run, no half time, 50 minute games; Every team plays 8 games.
Summer: Outdoor
Full field, turf pitch, 11v11, 40 minute halves, 5 minute halftime, FIFA rules; Every team plays 8 games.
Fall: Outdoor
Full field, turf pitch, 11v11, 40 minute halves, 5 minute halftime, FIFA rules; Every team plays 8 games.

All players must be over the age of 18.
