Summary
The Women’s League is a recreational adult league focused on experiencing the game of soccer in a less competitive atmosphere. This league focuses on fun, safe, and inclusive soccer! Women of all skill levels are encouraged to join and learn. Games are 80 minutes and aim to field 11v11 with occasional 9v9 lineups depending on player availability. In Recreational Leagues fun and safety trump competitiveness. We strive to maintain a welcoming and safe community for folks of all backgrounds and skill levels to be able to play, make friends, and stay healthy. We play one game per week on Sundays

Description
NOTE: Individual player insurance (click HERE for more information) is included in the cost of DSL registration. Optional additional coverage is offered through SportsPlus by separate player purchase.

In the DSL Recreational Leagues, fun and safety trump competitiveness. We strive to maintain a welcoming and safe community for folks of all backgrounds and skill levels to be able to play, make friends, and stay healthy. We expect all players to uphold earnest sportsmanship.

Our culture also recognizes and values diversity and inclusion as the path to meaningful community and organizational excellence.  We seek to sustain an inclusive culture that fosters equitable participation for athletes and administrators from diverse backgrounds.

We ask players, captains, board members and referees who may have, or witness, an experience contrary to this culture to report concerns to league leadership in whatever way they are most comfortable doing so. Anonymity will be respected, and we will address all offenses to the best of our ability, but willingness to provide contact information will allow transparent conversations to help us ensure the most appropriate action is taken.
