Marchers need to be in place by 4:00 - 4:30 PM.
- If you wish to participate, park your vehicle at the Shaws supermarket near Norwood Center.
- Plan to get to Shaws about 3:30 - 4:00 PM
- A shuttle bus will be running continuously taking parade participants back to the staging area (Coakley Middle School).
- Take the shuttle bus to the Coakley school and look for Sean Richardson and other Challenger families at the entrance driveway near the gym (where we play basketball)
- Bring sunscreen!!
- There will be bottles of water provided on the float
- Challenger has a truck pulling a trailer, so participants and their families can ride and not have to walk.
- There are very loud fire trucks in the parade - bring ear plugs for those who will be distressed!
- Parade ends at Shaw's supermarket, so at the end you will be right back near your vehicle
- If you will be dropping your child and not riding on the float, be sure to be back at Shaw's by 6:45 - 7:00 PM to pick up
- Shaw's Supermarket - from Route 1: Take Nahatan St towards Norwood Center. Shaws will be 1/2 mile on your left, across from Fire Station.
