Baseball & Softball

Norwood Challenger Sports, with support from Norwood Little League and Foxborough Youth Baseball, offers 8 weeks of baseball/softball in May and June.

Practices are held on weeknights at Father MacAleer field in Norwood and on Monday nights at Booth Playground in Foxborough. Games are held on Sunday afternoons, alternating weeks between Norwood and Foxborough.

Norwood Challenger offers girls softball (all ages), and two levels of baseball - one for younger, smaller, less experienced players (Majors) and one for older, bigger, more experienced payers (Seniors).

Norwood Challenger sends teams to the annual Attleboro Challenger Tournament and the annual Portsmouth RI Challenger Jamboree. Both of these events host teams from all over the region for a fun-filled day which includes lunch, a baseball game against another team and trophies for all participants.

No experience is required, and like all of our activities, the main goal is to have fun.
