Founded in 1994, G-Ball is the longest running girls-only basketball league in Santa Cruz County. G-Ball offers a program which will develop and improve individual as well as team skills, promote good sportsmanship, build team spirit, and encourage healthy competition.
Exposure to the game of basketball can enhance girl’s opportunity to play at the middle school and high school level and beyond. By participating in sports, girls learn to relate more effectively to others, develop lifelong patterns of healthy physical activity, increase self esteem and confidence, set and achieve goals, respect themselves and others, accept responsibility and failure, and be gracious winners.
