U8 = 1st Grade and 2nd Grade

League Participation
You must be an active member of St Peter Chanel Parish or have your children enrolled at Queen of Angels School to participate in this league.
Lost and Found
All items left on the soccer fields after the weekend’s games will be placed in the St. Peter Chanel Lost and Found located in the cabinets outside of Classroom 3.
Uniform Questions
The league will provide jerseys and socks prior to the first game of the fall season to ALL players. Players who participate in fall soccer are expected to retain their jerseys for the spring season. New players to the spring season will be provided with jerseys and socks prior to the first game of the season. Parents need to provide cleats (not required but recommended), shorts without pockets, and shin guards – no children will be allowed to practice or play without appropriate shin guards worn under the socks. Shirts should be tucked into the shorts.
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, please refer to the SPC Soccer website (www.spcsoccer.net) for details about the day's games. There will be no "rain hotline". If a game is cancelled:
U6 & U8 - The make-up game will be on the Friday evening immediately following the cancelled game unless you hear otherwise.
U10 & U12 – The make-up game will be scheduled by CMSL according to each team’s availability.
Field Clean-Up
At the end of each game it is the parent's responsibility to remove all items brought to the field. This includes trash, balls, food items, water bottles, chairs, etc. Please be diligent with this request. There is no cleaning crew - please pick up after yourselves!
U8 Parents and coaches are responsible for moving the soccer goals off of the fields and against either the baseball backstop or the nearest fence. This is very important so the fields can be cleared for the remaining games that day.
Child Drop Off
There must be a Parent or Guardian present at ALL games for your child. Coaches can not be responsible for watching your children while they are coaching games. There is too much going on both in the game and on the sideline to add to their list. Also, in the unlikely event of an injury or if medical care is required, there MUST be a parent or official guardian present. It is very important that you do not put the coach, the league or the Church in that position. Please be present or have a guardian present for your child while they are playing.
