WHO IS MOUNTAIN STATE SOCCER CLUB?

Mountain State Soccer Club (MSSC) is the travel soccer division of the Bridgeport Soccer Association. MSSC's goal is to provide today's youth soccer player with an opportunity to acquire advanced soccer training and development.

INFORMATION

Mountain State Soccer Club is a competitive program in which Bridgeport Soccer Association sponsors teams both in the fall and spring. MSSC teams play other travel clubs throughout the state of West Virginia, Southwestern Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. The fall season runs from late August through the first week of November and the spring season runs from early March thru mid-June.

TRAVEL SOCCER

Travel soccer is designed to help athletes reach their potential through quality coaching, the introduction of self-training, self-responsibility, and proper training environments. Coaches in travel soccer have years of playing and professional coaching experience at the High School and Collegiate levels; they design a curriculum that emphasizes age-specific technical skills combined with tactical decision-making to ensure that the right information is received at the appropriate age level.

WHAT ARE THE AGE DIVISIONS WITHIN MSSC
Mountain State Soccer Club offers teams divided by gender and age. The teams are further divided by age beginning at U10 Girls and Boys, U12 Girls and Boys, U14 Girls, and U15 Boys. Additional teams will be created.

NEWS & EVENTS

Mountain State Soccer Club will be practicing and hosting friendlies this spring at City Park Fields in Bridgeport.
