Open and Veterans League Playoffs

Playoffs for the Open and Veterans Leagues will begin Monday August 8th.
Open
The league will play a single elimination tournament with the following schedule:
Tuesday August 9th
5:30 PM Firebirds (Home) vs 6-4-3 (Visitor)
6:45 PM DH's (Home) vs Cardinals (Visitor)
Thursday August 11th
5:30 PM Winner Game 1 vs Winner Game 2 (highest seed is home team)
Veterans
The league will play a round-robin format with all teams playing three games, one against each team. Best record wins the playoffs. If two teams tie, then the winner of the head-to-head game between those teams is the winner. If three teams tie, then the team with the highest run differential is the winner. The game schedule will be as follows:
Monday August 8th
5:30 PM One Foot In The Grave (Home) vs Silver Streaks (Visitor)
6:45 PM Ball 5 (Home) vs Grey Dogs (Visitor)
Wednesday August 10th
5:30 PM One Foot In The Grave (Home) vs Grey Dogs (Visitor)
6:45 PM Ball 5 (Home) vs Silver Streaks (Visitor)
Monday August 15th
5:30 PM Silver Streaks (Home) vs Grey Dogs (Visitor)
6:45 PM Ball 5 (Home) vs One Foot In The Grave (Visitor)
Note regarding pool players
As has been done in the past, teams that need pool players in the play-offs will be allowed to use them. However, those players will be restricted to playing catcher, first base, left field, or right field and will not be allowed to be used as courtesy runners.
