Beach Academy Summer Program

Experience an exciting summer on the sand with the Beach Academy Summer Program at Rampage Volleyball Centre, serving youth and families in De Winton, Okotoks, and the surrounding area. This program is designed for athletes ages 12–16 who already have basic volleyball fundamentals and are ready to grow their skills in a fun, active, and supportive beach environment.

Location: Robertson Park, Okotoks

Season Dates: June 10, 2026 – September 2, 2026
Time: 7:30 pm - 9 pm 

Gender Eligibility: Open to all genders

Age Eligibility: 12–16 years old

Skill Level: Ideal for players who have basic volleyball fundamentals and are looking to build their beach volleyball skills

• Players ages 12–16 who want to develop and refine their skills in a dedicated beach volleyball setting.

What to Expect

The Beach Academy Summer Program emphasizes skill development, game understanding, and enjoyable competition in a welcoming atmosphere. Participants can expect:

• Progressive drills that strengthen key beach volleyball skills (serving, passing, setting, attacking, defense, and game strategy).
• Small-group training and game-like situations to apply skills under realistic conditions.
• Coaching that meets each athlete at their current level and helps them advance at an appropriate pace.
• A positive culture where work ethic, improvement, and sportsmanship are valued alongside competition.

Safety and Supervision

Player safety and well-being are our top priorities. All sessions are supervised and led by trained Rampage Volleyball Centre staff who are committed to:

• Providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful training environment for every participant.
• Promoting teamwork, fair play, and positive communication on and off the court.
• Supporting athletes of different backgrounds, abilities, and experience levels.

Parents/guardians will receive any important safety guidelines, expectations, and weather-related procedures prior to the start of the program.

Eligibility Requirements

• Age: Participants must be between 12 and 16 years old as of the start of the program.
• Gender: Open to all genders; mixed participation is welcomed and encouraged.
• Skill Level: Intended for athletes with basic volleyball fundamentals who are ready to further develop their beach volleyball skills.
• Conduct: All players are expected to follow Rampage Volleyball Centre’s code of conduct and program rules, including showing respect for coaches, teammates, opponents, and facilities.
