About Us

The mission of Ottumwa Girls Softball League is to provide a positive, safe, and inclusive environment where girls of all ages and skill levels have the opportunity to learn, compete, and grow through the game of softball. We are dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of the sport while promoting the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, integrity, respect and perseverance.

Our league strives to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and encourage personal growth both on and off the field. We believe that participation in youth sports helps shape strong individuals by fostering discipline, responsibility and lifelong friendships. Through the support of our volunteers, coaches, families and community partners, we are committed to creating meaningful experiences that empower young athletes, strengthen our community, and inspire a lifelong love for the game of softball.
