Location: Star Elementary (we do not have transportation to Star Elementary, students need to attend Star Elementary or be dropped off for the program)

This program is designed to help students have a structured and safe place before/after school to help facilitate parent schedules. The City of Star Recreation will provide a fee-based program that provides care Monday-Friday (follows the West Ada School District Calendar) from 7:00am-9:00am before releasing students to their teachers as well as a 4:00-6:00pm until parents can pick up students. This program is available to any student Kindergarten-5th grade who attend Star Elementary School or can be transported to Star Elementary. Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis. There is limited availability to start (20 spots) and we will provide 2-3 staff members to provide supervision. Before/After School Programming will take place in the Star Elementary gym. Pick up/Drop off will happen at the Gym with a sign in/out form. There will be a fee $1 per minute for any pick up after 6pm. Please understand we have to keep someone after hours to supervise so a fee must be put in place. We will not be offering discounts for multiple students. Students in the Before Care Program will have time to eat breakfast (parent provided), complete homework, and/or participate in games/crafts. Students in the After Care Program will have time to eat a snack (parent provided), complete homework, and/or participate in games/crafts. The City of Star Recreation will also offer additional clubs/resources (i.e. Lego Club) for an additional fee through those vendors.
