Introduction
Firstly, we would like to thank you for taking the time in showing a keen interest in a local sports team such as ourselves. As you may already know sponsorships are key in helping grass roots clubs like ourselves in covering the increasing costs of the day to day running of the club.
Should you decide to come onboard please be assured that being a sponsor is by no means a one-sided deal. In return Caerleon Town can offer your profile/brand a vast range of exposure opportunities. These opportunities will not only increase your profile/brand online but will almost certainly increase your businesses overall footfall throughout the course of the sponsorship agreement.
We are currently in the latter stages of negotiations with a highly respected local Rugby Club with a view of agreeing an initial Tenancy agreement. We are hoping to make the announcement official through various media channels, including the South Wales Argus, in the next month or so. This exciting link up will give our club its own pitch and new clubhouse which we are very much looking forward to enjoying. It will also help the club make the next step in achieving higher league football and ultimately expanding the football family to include Youth and Ladies teams.
What does this news mean to you? Well, the scope for advertising increases massively as part of the agreement we are negotiating is the potential for our sponsors to be displayed around the rugby pitches on match days as well as in the clubhouse. Add to that the exposure to increased numbers of players, staff and volunteers from both rugby and football teams it certainly becomes a more appealing proposition. The potential and scope is truly remarkable.
Kit Sponsorship Package
Advertising through the medium of sport is always an excellent opportunity to get your company name recognised and talked about within the local community. And one of the most popular ways of sponsoring is to have your company name/logo, which can be uniquely designed if required, placed onto the centre of our shirts, which will be visible for all matches, both home and away every week.
Your company information will not only be seen by our players, officials and supporters but also by those from visiting teams and match officials. Plus, as mentioned above, the additional footfall from those that attend the rugby matches that will be played alongside our home games will be a welcome bonus.
Please note that ALL HOME Fixtures will feature your logo on our kits. However, certain away fixtures are subject to opponents’ colours not clashing so a change of kit may be required.
More Benefits of being our main kit sponsor….
There are a wide range of extra benefits with being our main kit sponsor. Benefits include FREE advertising on our website. Your brand will be plastered all over our website guaranteeing your company maximum exposure. Your company will also feature on our home page banners on twitter & Facebook. Not only that but your brand will also be featured on our match day photos which will also be published on our website, Facebook and Twitter. And quite often they will also appear on our opponents websites and social media outlets, again gaining your company that added exposure.
FREE Online Advertising…
As our main kit sponsor you will also have the advantage of our online advertising packages which includes main page advertising in more than 3 separate locations as well as being advertised on our headers and footers on our websites which are all linked up to your companies very own website for increased web traffic. Our ads are fully Search Engine Optimized (SEO) which means your ads will appear on over 60 search engines such as Google® Yahoo® & Bing®. For more information please see our advertising section.
Main Kit Sponsorship cost £650 per Kit for one season this features all the above benefits.
Club Sponsorship
Not to get confused with a kit sponsorship, a Club sponsorship has all the rewards and exposure of a kit sponsorship but with added benefits that include your company name/logo being printed on the back of every club tracksuit and polo shirt that every player and staff must wear on all occasions associated with Caerleon Town AFC. This includes training sessions, pre/post-match days whilst not on the pitch, presentations, league meetings, Club meetings, team meetings, and AGM meetings.
Not only that but most of our players enjoy wearing the tracksuits and polo shirts in their free time expanding the Geographic’s for people seeing your brand. Managers, Coaches and Staff will also be wearing this clothing on all these occasions. This branded sportswear will be available to all club members. Your company information will not only be seen by our players, officials and supporters but also by those of visiting teams and match officials. Plus, as mentioned above, the additional footfall from those that attend the rugby matches that will be played alongside our home games will be a welcome bonus..
A Club sponsorship is our most expensive option, but it does guarantee your company maximum exposure. Becoming a club sponsor is the ultimate form of advertising as the estimated audience within the local and surrounding communities is limitless.
Price for this Package is £2,000
Sponsorship Package Option Fees
Bronze Package – Kit Sponsor
As mentioned above this is generally the favoured option for businesses. Cost includes the following:
15 outfield kits PLUS 1 x GK kit.
Your company name/brand/logo on the front of each top as well as our Club Badge
Squad numbers on the back of each top
FREE Online Advertising
Cost = £650 per season per kit.
Silver Package - Kit + Club Polo Shirt
As well as the above Package B consists of Package A plus a Club Polo Shirt for every squad player.
Your company name/brand/logo on the front or back of each shirt as well as our Club Badge
Players names/initials will also appear on the shirt
Advertising (eg posters) in Clubhouse
Cost = £900 per season
Gold Package – Kit, Polo Shirt, Tracksuit Tops (Main Club Sponsorship)
Our most expensive Package but also our most exclusive and rewarding. This avoids competing with other sportwear sponsors.
Package C includes everything in Packages A+B but also includes full Tracksuits (including bottoms).
Your company name/brand/logo on the back of each jacket as well as our Club Badge
Players names/initials will also appear on the jacket
Advertising Banner to be placed on main Rugby pitch.
Cost = £2,000
Prices can be negotiated if quotes are provided. The term length of these packages is for one full season. However, we would be prepared to negotiate on 24 month (2 x Full Seasons) terms. Please ask for details
Other Sponsorship Options
Bronze Package is a stand alone offer. However, the components in Silver and Gold packages can be broken down or combined to create a new package.

Online Advertising Only Options
Our Advertising Space Online offers an excellent opportunity to branch out and promote your company/business/organization to our viewers on a local, national and global level. Your online advert will be featured on both of our website with external links to your own website if applicable.
Club Website Statistics:
We currently have on average 3000 unique visitors per month and approximately 800 visitors per week. We have approximately 100 visitors each weekday and around 400 visitors on the weekends. Last year we saw 37,000 unique visitors to our website, with each person loading 4.7 internal web pages on to our club website. https://caerleontownafc.sportsplus.app/public/3088/
Add to this all our followers and supporters on both Twitter and Facebook, it soon adds up. On a regular basis we will also Tweet/share via Facebook links to promote your business, providing maximum potential for new and existing customers.
This form of advertising also includes hyperlinks linking our website ads to yours and so directing potential customers away from our site to yours increasing both your web traffic and exposure.
This advertising plan is currently favoured by several local businesses who have seen some unprecedented improvements in their own social media presence which in turn leads to business being expanded over a larger front.
We would be happy to accept a month by month payment plan of £20 per month direct into our Club Bank Account if you prefer but there are obvious savings to be had for paying in 3, 6 or 12 month blocks as follows:
