FIRST TEAM || Ramadhan Kamugisha signs for the Saints ahead of the 2023 season

Eastern United FC is delighted to announce the signing of former Adelaide Vipers FC player Ramadhan Kamugisha.

Ramadhan Kamugisha, 26, was born in 1996 in Tanzania.
He moved to South Australia at the age of 8 with his family, like many people did in that period.
Ramadhan is set to join the Saints ahead of the 2023 season; An attacking minded player, Ramadhan is capable of playing in any of the midfield positions.
Ramadhan's passion for the game started at young age thanks to his father who was a massive fan of football and fitness, so he inherited that outlook on life.
He started playing club football at the age of 8 for Metrostars, where he went thru the rank and reached the Under 18's of the competition.
He then moved to Vipers FC to play reserves but he soon became a fan favourite and in 2017 he made his first team debut with the club against Fulham United in round 1 of the 2017 season.

Manager Gabriel Markaj had this to say about our new signing:
"There were a few players that I had in my list from when I joined the club but before we weren't in a position to be able to approach and convince those players to come over but now the club is in a great position, our branding is excellent and our performance on and off the pitch are on the rise, so now we are able to sign players Kamugisha. He will fit with the team and our culture very nicely I have no doubts."
