FIRST TEAM || Transfer window is now open and player departures confirmed

Eastern United can confirm that State League 1 squad members Musa Fofana, Ramadhan Kamugisha, George Katsigiannis, Riak Mayol & Isacc Benouzekri have all parted ways with the club.

George Katsigiannis, was part of the 2022 State League 1 squad and made over 10 appearances for the club.

Musa Fofana only collected 2 appearances while Ramadhan Kamugisha collected 3 appearances for the club.

Riak Mayol & Isacc Benouzekri joined the club in November 2022. Mayol struggled with injuries early on and made a total of 8 appearances for the club scoring one goal in round 6 against Adelaide Cobras.
Benouzekri made 11 appearances between league and cup and found the back of the net only once in round 9 levelling the score at 2-2 against league leaders Adelaide Croatia Raiders.

Manager Gabriel Markaj had this to say about the departing players:
"I would like to thank all the players for their contribution during their time with the club, their attitude and professionalism towards their teammates has been excellent all the way. Unfortunalty things didn't work out as everyone expected but I wish them all the best for their future careers."
