SENIORS || Pal Prengaj appointed Coach of the Saints First Team 

Eastern United FC is delighted to announce that Pal Prengaj will join Spiros Simeonakis as coaches of the First Team squad for season 2023.

Pal Prengaj, 31, joins us from AdelaideOlympic where he was Reserves Head Coach and Assistant Coach of the First Team last season.
Prengaj started his journey as a coach once he arrived in Australia in 2016. He started coaching the community level at West Adelaide in 2019 by coaching their U16 team. The following year he joined NPL club Adelaide Olympic and spent the last 2 years the senior set up, as an assistant of the First Team and coach of the Reserves squad.
Prengaj is well known at the Saints by the players and board, he will add fresh ideas to the First Team.
Prengaj role will mainly focus on the defensive side of the game and will work in collaboration with the Manager Gabriel Markaj to give an identity to the team in the defensive phase and focus on improving and developing each player to be functional in the team. He just undertook FFA/AFC C License.

Pal Prengaj had this to say:
"I joined the club because of the relationships that I had with the Markaj the Manager and I was interested in his project to do something for the community."

"Another reason was the ambition of the club to be in NPL in the next few seasons and leave the mark in the football community here in SA. " he continued.

Manager Gabriel Markaj had this to say:
"Pal is well known by our players as well as our supporters so getting him involved will bring continuity to our project and he is a good character to have around the club, as he is a real club person and the human side of a person it's very important for us here at the Saints. In terms football, Pal will be focusing on the defensive phase, something that he enjoys doing and I can't wait to see him in the training ground doing what he loves."

"I wish him a great season and he will be well supported during his time at the club by me and the staff." he continued.

The club is still on the look out for a Goalkeeper Coach and Fitness Coach.
