Fifth and sixth grade students will be placed on the Almond A team. The Almond A team will compete against other Los Altos A teams in the Los Altos Flag Football League. The season runs from September 11, 2026 to November 8, 2026 and is open to Oak 5th and 6th grade students of all genders. We are still seeking coaches and team parents—please volunteer if you are able.

Description

After School Athletics Elementary League is organized around grade levels 3 thru 6. Each Elementary School in the district will field an A Team (5th/6th grade) and a B Team (3rd/4th grade). Each team will play the other schools in the Fall 2025 season starting in September and ending the first weekend of November. There are two events each week during the season. Coaches will start practice in early September with one or two practices and once the season begins generally there is one practice and one game each week. Both will be scheduled in the 3:30 to 5:00 PM slot on Monday or Friday after school. This is intended to be a recreational sport and we are not discouraging kids from participating in other sports or activities. Our approach is to have fun and learn football fundamentals.
