IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Hello all registered players, parents and coaches,

Welcome to Lafayette Futsal League (LFL).
Below there are some important updates so please take the time to read it.
There is important information that may answer some of your questions.
Frequently I get asked for information that it has been previously shared or is online.

Here are some ways to find information about the current LFL season.

*Go to www.lafayettefutsal.com , check the tabs for schedule, standings, teams, rosters and more.

*On the website, look for the login word on the right upper corner, click it and it will take you to the sportsplus.app webpage, login, look for your child's info.

*Go directly to the https://sportsplus.app/ webpage. Login into your account to find details like programs registered, teams assigned, schedules, account balance and more.

*Download the Sportsplus mobile app for Android HERE , or for I Phone HERE, login and check the information with the convenience on your mobile device.
*The Sportsplus mobile app is for registered members only.

You will be able to find your child's information online for a better experience.
You will get an email notification with a reminder of your child's game or practice 24 hours and 2 hours before it starts.
You can choose to add Phone text message alerts too. Look for this option on your child's page. This is a good option so both parents get notifications.
Please check the information online, it has the details of your game.

-SCHEDULE-
You can find it in your child's sportsplus profile account or go online;

-LOCATIONS-
Northend Community Center (NCC) 2000 Elmwood Avenue. Lafayette, IN.
Field #1 at the Northend Community Center is the closest to check in.
Field #2 at the Northend Community Center is the farthest from check in.
*You can go to field #2 by walking through the hallway after checking in.

Lafayette Sports Center (LSC) 3832 Fortune Drive. Lafayette, IN.
Field #1 at the Lafayette Sports Center is the first one as you come in.
Field #2 at the Lafayette Sports Center is the farthest.
Field Turf at the Lafayette Sports Center is next to the gymnastics.

There is a $5 entry fee for adults for games.
Children under 13 are free.
Current LFL players (18 and under), free.
The entry fee is just for games. We do not charge to attend practices.

-ALL PLAYERS MUST BE REGISTERED TO PLAY-
Online registration is required to participate on any of our programs and games.
Parents/guardians are responsible for registering players under 18 year old.

-WAIVER & CODE OF CONDUCT
Registered players and parents agreed on the waiver form and code of conduct.
Everyone should read the attached code of conduct.
Everyone in the LFL events must follow the rules, guidelines and code of conduct.
Inappropriate behavior from anyone is not acceptable.

-UNIFORMS-
All LFL teams will practice with BLUE uniform.
All LFL teams will play games with WHITE uniform.
LFL players need to wear full uniform at practices and games.
"HOME" teams in the game schedule will NOT WEAR color pinnies.
"AWAY" teams in the game schedule will WEAR color pinnies.
Goalkeepers MUST WEAR a different color pinnie.
Full time Goalkeepers could wear the official YELLOW LFL uniform (ask us if you are interested in purchasing).
When you get the game notification, it will say if the player plays as HOME or AWAY.

-ALL PLAYERS MUST WEAR SHINGUARDS-
Shinguards are part of the proper soccer attire. It is one of the FIFA rules.
Professionals, college, high school, travel and recreational players wear shinguards as part of the uniform.
We do our best to keep children safe. By wearing shinguards, it minimizes the risk of injuries.
Injuries could be very damaging for a young player, it could end their athlete's career.
It is a liability issue, so please make sure your children wear shinguards at practices and games or they will not be allowed to play.

-SOCIAL MEDIA-

We post pictures and videos almost everyday.
Please share our posts and tag us in your posts/histories.

-SPONSORSHIP-
We have opportunities for Sponsorship and donors.
We have different levels to help promote your business/organization.
With the financial support from Sponsors and donors, we offer scholarships to some families with financial hardship.
We also apply the financial support to reduce the cost of uniforms.

-PROGRAMS-
We offer a variety of Programs depending on the players age and/or level.
We keep the cost to the lowest possible to help families.
We have an experienced professional coaching staff along with Volunteer coaches.
Our main priority is the safety of the children and to give them the best experience possible.
Along with footskills, we teach good values that will help in the player's life.

-VOLUNTEERS-
We have several opportunities to get involved.
Volunteer coaches help with the coaching of the games.
We need volunteers on the administrative side.
Please let me know if you are interested in getting involved.

-LOST & FOUND-
Please ask your children to take their ball back or any other equipment after our practice or game.
If for some reason they forget anything, the items will be at the same location was left on.
Just look for it the next time you go back to that location. Please do not ask me if I've seen your child's ball.

We hope to provide you with a good service with an easier way for you to plan ahead.
Please make sure to check your children's profile, it has information that may help you with some questions.
Please check online information before message me. I try to keep up answering but with over 200 players it gets difficult to reply everyone.
You do not need to let me know if your child can not make a practice or a game, I am sure there is a good reason for missing.
Also, I can not answer the phone from 5-8:30pm during the week as I am setting up/organizing practices. Neither all day on Sundays due to the games.

We keep working on building/updating the website and the other platforms.
