Weather Policy

Practice will not automatically be canceled due to rain.  If there is a threat of thunder/lightning or strong winds, a determination will be made by 90 minutes prior to the scheduled session.  If practice is canceled, information will be updated on the PWC website, PWC communication tools, and Crew Hotline.

Please note: The weather forecast can change unpredictably and rapidly.  The Crew Hotline, PWC Website, and communication tools will be updated as soon as possible. There may be times practice will be canceled after the arrival of rowers due to rapidly changing weather conditions. The safety of the rowers/coxswains and coaches is first priority.

CANCELLATION OR WITHDRAWAL POLICY
The PWC Programs Administrator must receive a written notice from a parent or guardian of a rowing participant that is no longer able to participate due to medical reasons.  Due to financial obligations incurred by PWC to operate, this policy will be adhered to under the following conditions:

·        90% of registration fees will be refunded up to two days before the session starts.

·        Registration fees will be refunded on a pro-rata basis after the start of a session.

·        Medical reasons must include a signed note from a doctor stating “due to injury, the participant is no longer able to continue” and state injury incurred. The signed note must be provided to the Programs Administrator.  Subject to verification prior to refund.

·        Cancellation refund of any other nature after the start of the session will be at the discretion of the Programs Administrator and PWCA President.
