LIMITED ENROLLMENT Varsity is for athletes in grades 9th -12th to build and/or develop a base list of dives from the five unique diving groups (Front, Back, Reverse, Inward, Twist) for the upcoming boys & girls diving seasons . This program is suitable for those interested in essential preparation for Middle or High School diving. Additionally, this program is a development stepping stone to meet Norco TRAIN advancement opportunities. Those in Middle School are eligible upon program director approval. ADDITIONAL NOTE: Poudre School District has provided an opportunity in which they will pay for 60 'Off-Season' practices for the PSD students at Rocky Mtn, Fort Collins, Poudre, & Fossil Ridge high schools. If you are high school student at one of these schools, enter the promo code PSD2025/26 for a tuition waiver. These 60 'Off-Season' practices will be counted as a collective and not on an individual basis. Once the 60 practices have been completed, tuition will be charged.

NOTE:

Poudre School District has provided an opportunity in which they will pay for 60 'Off-Season' practices for the PSD students at Rocky Mtn, Fort Collins, Poudre, & Fossil Ridge high schools. ADDITIONALLY, if you are a Poudre School District student-athlete, you may be required to meet district requirements (orange card) to participate. Your school may be required to verify your school enrollment in order to receive the PSD waiver. If you have received the PSD waiver, to maintain your roster position, you need to attend at least 2 of 3 practices a week (unless approved); otherwise, your position may be released for another student athlete on the waiting list who can meet those requirements.

Description: The Norco VARSITY program is designed for high school divers who are focused on mastering 1-meter springboard diving and preparing for the high school competitive season. This program is ideal for athletes who may have already learned the fundamentals through prior diving experiences, whether at Norco Diving or through their high school program, although not required.

Program Focus:

1-Meter Springboard Development: The VARSITY program centers on developing strong 1-meter diving skills, with occasional drills on the 3-meter board to refine technique and enhance confidence. While the primary focus is on 1-meter dives, these drills provide additional opportunities for skill development and form improvement.
High School Meet Performance: The program is tailored to high school divers preparing for the CHSAA competitive season. Athletes will focus on developing dive lists and refining skills necessary for success in high school meets. This program does not include participation in external competitions, such as USA Diving or AAU events, allowing athletes to focus solely on high school performance.
Pathway to Progression: The VARSITY program can serve as a final destination for athletes who wish to focus on high school diving. Alternatively, it provides a solid foundation for those looking to move into more competitive training groups, such as the Challenge or TRAIN programs.

Prerequisites:

Previous diving experience, either from Norco Diving programs (Foundations or Fast Track), High School Teams, or other recognized diving programs.
A basic understanding of 1-meter diving skills, with room for further development.
