Description:The Norco FOUNDATIONS program focuses on continuing to develop the base fundamentals of diving while building into more advanced fundamental skills, terminology, and safety, while working towards completing the essential dives in the tuck position from every dive category (front, back, reverse, inward, and twist) from the 1-meter springboard. The diver will also learn a complete forward approach, back jump, front fall in (falling dive), and back fall in (standing back dive) from the 3-meter.
Expectations: No expectations other than a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and have fun!
Prerequisites: Must complete the DISCOVERY program first or obtain approval from the program director to test out.
The following Waiver and Assumption of Risk Agreement is a legally binding document that outlines important information regarding participation in Norco Diving, The Flip Lab, and NCI Sports programs and activities. This agreement includes acknowledgment and assumption of inherent risks, release of liability, medical authorization in the event of an emergency, media release, indemnification provisions, and legal representations under Colorado law.
Participation in diving, trampoline, dryland training, and related athletic activities involves inherent risks, including the possibility of serious injury or death, even when conducted under professional supervision. By reviewing and agreeing to this waiver, you acknowledge and accept these risks and grant permission for participation under the terms described.
