Description
Winter Recreation Basketball is open to boys of all skill levels in grades 3-8. Recreation Basketball is not as competitive as Travel Basketball and is meant for the children to learn how to play the game of basketball and have fun with their friends. Equal playing time is highly encouraged in this program.
This league does not keep standings, therefore there are no playoffs. Recreation Basketball will run from early January through the end of March. Dates and times of games are determined by gym availability and the league. Northvale Recreation does not make the schedule. Typically in the past most games would start at 6pm, M-F with some Saturdays. Recreation games are not played on Sunday. Please note the younger grades typically play at the 6-6:30pm time slot with the older kids playing up until 9pm. Practices are held by coaches and based on their availability.

$50 late fee for all registrations received after October 24th. 
No registrations for Rec will be taken after October 31st.
