Description

Winter Recreation Basketball is open to boys of all skill levels in grades 3-8. Recreation basketball is not as competitive as Travel and is meant for the children to learn how to play the game of basketball and have fun with their friends. Equal playing time is highly encouraged in this program. 

This league does not keep standings, therefore there are no playoffs. Recreation basketball will run from early January through the end of March. Games are typically played M-F with the occasional Saturday game. No recreation basketball games are played on Sunday. No games will start earlier than 5:30pm during the week. Please note that the 3/4 grade level will typically play 1st followed by 5/6 & 7/8. Practices are held by coaches and based on their availability. A Northvale Rec basketball jersey is required to play in games. If you do not have one from a previous season, you will need to purchase one via the online store.

No registrations for Rec will be taken after November 6th.
