Delavan Youth Football and Cheer

Date: March 18, 2026

1.Call to Order: 6:04

2.Roll Call : David Henriott, Jenni Schultz, Brenda Warrenburg, Tommy CdeBaca, Cassi Martino Steven Schultz Sr.,Steven Schultz Jr, Mark Kibler, Stacey Kibler

3.Approval of February 18th, 2026     Minutes 1st  Brenda Warrenburg Motioned/Tommy CdeBaca  2nd - all approved

4. Reports:

President: Dave Henriott -None

V.P.: Mike Garbe - Not in attendance

Secretary : Stacey Kibler - Printed & Electronic flyers delivered to Delavan Parochial Schools, Brenda taking extras to hang

Treasurer : Cassi Martino - Bank Balance $30,113.06 - no pending transactions

Administrator: Greg Nichols - Not in attendance but helmets went out for recertification

League: Steven Schultz - 

  • East Troy has left the league

  • New tackle rules have been passed & those have been put in our google drive

  •  Enrolled in USA football.

  • Passing League will be with Jefferson, Monroe, WW, Belvidere, Ponyette.  No Schedule yet.

  • June 15th is deadline for submitting rosters which includes pictures of players and coaches along with coaches title/positions they coach.

  • League will push games back on April 11th to allow coaches to attend the free coaching clinic 9-11 at UW Whitewater

  • Dues need to be paid by the end of March. (In drive - send to Jason)

Concessions/Fundraiser: Brenda-None

At- Large: Tommy CdeBaca-

  • Reached out to Mercy for athletic trainers - Nothing available

  • Will Reach out to Aurora

   5. Old Business

a. Fundraising

  • August 3rd will be the HARD deadline for sponsors turn in requiring logo/photo’s to allow enough time for programs to be printed for first game Aug 22nd.

  • Comet card turn in will be Sept 8.

    • Piggly Wiggly to have tables set up for kids as an option to sell. 

    • Scoopie Night as fundraiser Idea

b. Registrations current #’s– FBSeason – 19 – FB Camp – 14 – Chr Side – 14 – Chr Comp -7 

6. New Business

  • Delavan Youth Football/Cheer clothing as fundraiser/made available to purchase for this season

    • Board members reach out to business to get info and bring it to the next meeting.

  • Team photo’s - likely Aug 6-7

  • 7 on 7 – 9 Registered so far (Anyone 5-8th can attend)

  • Concessions for 7 on 7- YES (4TH, 11TH, 18TH)

  • Recruiting Drive – Numbers are not coming in. Do we need to get into the schools? Ashley is sending out Parent square again this week.

    • April 13th - day at Phoenix & Potentially Darien

    • April 14th-15th - day at ORLS, St. Andrews DCS - email sent requesting availability

    • Recruiting Video when weather is nice?

7.Open Discussion

  • Mark Kibler - Requesting an In-House Program for 3/4th graders for 2026.  If interest is enough, joining a league for 2027.  Will be making a survey to see interest to make sure numbers would be high enough.

    • He has a donor for the first 12 players or so to cover equipment. (Roughly $2,100.00)

    • In house - 6 weeks on Saturdays excluding Labor Day. 1.5- 2 Hours (Aug 22-Oct3)

    • Ran by High School Players/coaches with Youth.

    • Helmets, Pads

    • Cost to sign up would roughly be $50 per player
