a. Fundraising
-Comet cards will be given out, they are almost ready a the printer(ordered 1250) - Brenda wants to lower the amount per family to 10 cards unless they were active sellers last year to cut down on the amount of cards needed to order. Turn in date will be after Labor Day- 8th
-Sponsorships are still coming in and will remind families of hard deadlines to turn in Aug 3rd.
6. New Business
a. Extra Scrimmage/Games- Board voted No to scheduling with a Madison team that reached out. The board voted in favor of Scrimmaging East Troy on August 13th for the 7th and 8th grade teams. Will be at home. High school team has scrimmage the 14th so will likely not give up the field to host youth scrimmage on the turf.
b. Picture Day- Sean is booked for the 11th
c. Equipment Updates- Discussed:

- discussions with BSN- Questions -
-
Do we want to mark up items for fundraising
-
Can personalize names/numbers
-
Brand preferences? - Multiple price points
-
Ship to home vs group order and handout
-
Two Types of shops -Many programs elect to have a larger store (option 1) before/at the start of the season and then have the sprint store open throughout the season due to timing and delivery.
-
Open for a shorter period of time (say 10 days) items are consolidated and start to move when the store closes; large assortment of items available and pricing is the best on this type of store
-
Sprint store – can be open for the entire season; items are produced and shipped right when ordered – so they get shipped out in about 2 days; not as large of a variety of items; pricing is higher
-
Discussion with Hansen Screen Printing - Elkhorn
-
Order online - pick up instore - we could make everyone pick up own orders or handout ourselves
-
No personalization names/numbers
-
Told him just cost effective - these would be the prices
-
Hood-$24
-
LS-$18
-
T-$14
-
Stacey will reach out to Sweet Stitches - Local in town by Tower Park and send info to board to vote on
