Join GLASA on November 14th at the Donato Foundation for an exciting Volt Hockey Open House and discover one of the newest adaptive sports in the United States! As only the second Volt Hockey team in the country, GLASA is proud to bring this innovative and exhilarating sport to our community.
Volt Hockey is a dynamic 3-on-3 team sport designed for individuals with limited upper and lower body mobility, including those with muscular dystrophy and other physical disabilities. Combining the excitement of hockey with the maneuverability of go-kart racing, players use specially designed motorized chairs equipped with paddles to control and move a ball across the court.
With customized power chairs capable of reaching speeds of up to 10 mph, Volt Hockey delivers nonstop action, teamwork, strategy, and fun in an inclusive environment. Whether you're an experienced adaptive athlete or looking to try something completely new, this open house is the perfect opportunity to learn about the sport, meet other athletes, and experience the excitement firsthand.
Be among the first to help grow one of America's newest adaptive sports. Come see why Volt Hockey is gaining momentum and discover how you can become part of GLASA's pioneering team!
