About the Tournament

Welcome to the Summit 7s, the first-ever youth rugby sevens tournament hosted by Chuckanut Bay Rugby Club! Set at the beautiful deWilde Rugby & Polo Fields, this event brings together top-tier rugby for high school and U12/U14 teams in a competitive and community-driven atmosphere.

Schedule & Format

  • Team Check-In: 7:30 AM
  • Coach/Captain Meeting: 8:15 AM
  • First Kickoff: 9:00 AM
  • Awards Ceremony: 4:00–5:00 PM (est.)

Format: Pool play followed by knockout rounds. Each team is guaranteed at least three matches.

  • 2 full-size grass fields with permanent posts
  • Team tent space and warm-up areas
  • Onsite parking

  • Certified athletic trainers on site

Rules & Eligibility

  • World Rugby 7s laws with USA Rugby modifications
  • 7-minute halves, 2-minute halftime
  • Pool tiebreakers: points difference, head-to-head, tries scored
  • Rostered players only, must meet age eligibility
  • Coaches must be certified and background-checked
