Description

Get ready to serve, set, and spike this summer at our Youth Volleyball Skills Camp hosted by Coach Nicole Davis! 🏐

This four-day camp, running June 1st through June 4th, is designed to help young athletes build confidence, improve volleyball fundamentals, and have fun in a positive and encouraging environment. Players will work on essential skills such as passing, serving, setting, hitting, footwork, teamwork, and overall game awareness through drills, instruction, and interactive play.

Whether your child is brand new to volleyball or looking to sharpen their skills before the next season, this camp is a great opportunity to learn the game and grow as a player.

Camp Sessions: Monday, June 1st - Thursday June 4th
• Session 1: 4:30pm-6:00pm  -  Rising 1st Grade through Rising 4th Grade
• Session 2: 6:15pm-8:15pm  -  Rising 5th Grade through Rising 8th Grade

Participants should come prepared each day with athletic clothing, tennis shoes, water, and plenty of energy! Spaces are limited, so be sure to register early and join us for an exciting week of volleyball fun and skill development.                       

Waivers
Liability Release and Waiver
In consideration of my child/ward being permitted to participate in The Town of Kenly Parks
and Recreation sports programs and activities, I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian, acknowledge and understand that participation in athletic and recreational activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, or accident.
 
I hereby voluntarily assume all risks associated with my child’s participation, whether such risks are known or unknown, and agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the Town of Kenly, its Parks and Recreation Department, officers, employees, volunteers, coaches, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage that may be sustained by my child while participating in these activities, including travel to and from activities.
 
I certify that my child is physically able to participate and has no medical condition that would prevent safe participation, or that such conditions have been disclosed in writing. I grant permission for emergency medical treatment if necessary and accept financial responsibility for any medical care provided.
 
I, as the Parent/Guardian of the minor child being registered to participate in a youth recreation program with Kenly Parks and Recreation, give my permission for the use of my child's name and photographs in The Parks and Recreation Department’s publications both print and electronic- i.e. newspaper articles, social media posts, brochures and promotional materials.

By submitting this registration, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the registered participant. I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the Liability Release and Waiver for Youth Athletics. I voluntarily consent to my child’s participation in all program activities and assume all risks associated with participation.

I further agree that this electronic acknowledgment constitutes my legal signature and has the same force and effect as a handwritten signature.
  • Fees are due by the deadline date for registration to be complete.
  • Registration fees must be paid before child can participate in camp.
  • All fees are non-refundable (If, for any reason, a camp or age group is cancelled, a 100% refund will be provided.)
  • Checks that are returned for insufficient funds will be assessed with a $25.00 service fee.
  • Complete one form for each child that is to participate.
