IL Select Spring Tackle League 205 Texans Youth Football Organization Riverdale, Illinois The 205 Texans Youth Football Organization is excited to announce our upcoming spring tackle football season: Season Name: IL Select Spring Tackle League Sport: Tackle Football Season Dates: May 9, 2026 – June 27, 2026 This spring season is designed to give players a focused, competitive, and development-driven football experience. Over the course of the IL Select Spring Tackle League, athletes will: - Build strong fundamental skills in blocking, tackling, footwork, and game awareness - Learn proper technique with an emphasis on player safety and safe contact - Develop teamwork, discipline, and leadership on and off the field - Prepare for future fall seasons through structured practices and live game situations The league will include regular practices Tues-Thur 5pm-7:30 and scheduled games (tba) against other competitive youth programs. All sessions are led by our trained coaching staff, who are committed to teaching the game the right way—through positive coaching, clear communication, and age-appropriate instruction.
