City of Star Sports Coordinator
I have been the Sports Coordinator for the City of Star since 2010, simply put my job is to get the kids active in sports leagues. We design all the sports programs as an introduction to a particular sport where the kids can learn, meet friends or make new ones and how to be part of a team. Our coaches are volunteer and the referees are kids learning how to become a young adult by learning some life lessons and make some extra money. Volunteers are always welcome, we have a monthly meeting every 2nd Tuesday of every month at Star City Hall at 730 pm everyone is welcome for public input at the beginning of the meeting, you are welcome to voice your input or concerns about anything rec that you would like to see done or would like done.
