Description

Mooroolbark Soccer Club’s Junior Program offers a structured and competitive football pathway for players aged U12 to U18. Training is held twice weekly, with approximately 65 sessions across the season. Days and times are available via the Sports Plus app.

Our coaching follows the Football Australia framework, including the Skill Acquisition and Game Training phases. Coaches are accredited and committed to developing confident, skilled, and team-oriented players.

Matchday squads are selected based on training attendance, performance, fitness, and attitude. While equal game time is not guaranteed, coaches aim to develop all players fairly. Games are played at home (Esther Park) and away, with travel increasing slightly for older age groups.

The program includes:

  • Pre-season training and practice matches
  • Competitive fixtures from late April to mid-September
  • Squad trials and grading in early March
  • Ongoing feedback and development support

Fees:

  • $645 club fee
  • Additional Football Australia fee (to be confirmed)
  • No weekly match fees

Players and families are expected to follow the club’s Code of Conduct, support team culture, and contribute to matchday duties. This program is ideal for committed young players looking to grow in a supportive, performance-driven environment.
