Registration is now open for SMG's CYO Boys Football! All boys who meet CYO eligibility requirements and are interested in learning and playing football in a faith-filled, team-focused environment are invited to register.

Our CYO Boys Football program emphasizes skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Players will learn fundamental football techniques, game rules, and strategies while growing in character and faith.

Who Can Register
CYO Boys Football is open to boys who meet the applicable age/grade and parish/school eligibility guidelines set by the CYO. If you are unsure about eligibility, please reach out to us for clarification.

- Youth in eligible grades (elementary and middle school, per CYO rules)
- Families registered at the parish or school participating in CYO sports
Key Dates & Season Information

- Preseason workouts to build skills and conditioning
- Regular season games against other CYO teams

How to Register
Online registration is now open. Families are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible so we can finalize rosters and coaching assignments.
Please follow the registration link provided by SMG Sports Ministry to complete the process. You may be asked to provide:
- Player and parent/guardian contact information
- Emergency contact and medical information
- Uniform sizing details
- Consent forms and required waivers
Registration fees and payment instructions will be displayed during the online registration process.
Equipment & Uniforms
Details on required equipment and uniforms will be provided to all registered families. Typically, players will need items such as:
- Cleats appropriate for football
- Mouthguard
- Practice clothing suitable for outdoor activity
Information about helmets, pads, and jerseys will be shared prior to the start of practices, including what is provided by the program and what families must supply.
Volunteer Opportunities
Our CYO program depends on the support of parents and parish community members. Volunteer roles may include:
- Coaching or assistant coaching
- Team parent and communications support
- Game day help (chain crew, scoreboard, field setup, concessions, etc.)
