The Premier Program is for athletes fully committed to high-performance volleyball.

This level is for players who are ready to:

• Compete in Open or top divisions only
• Train and perform at an elite level
• Travel for high-level tournaments
• Commit fully as athletes and as a family

This is not a recreational or flexible program.
This is a high-performance, results-driven environment.

Athletes must be ready to:
sleep, eat, and live volleyball during the season.

This program includes 10 high-level tournaments, competing only in AAU and USAV events, with most tournaments being 3-day events, and AAU Nationals included (4 days).

The goal of this program is to earn a USAV National Bid.

If a team earns a bid:

• Participation in USAV Nationals is required
• An additional~$250 or less fee (April–May) applies
• Travel to another state is required

USAV Nationals is not included in the program cost, as only teams that earn a bid are eligible to participate.

All tournaments are Stay-and-Play.

Families are required to:

• Use official tournament hotel links only
• Follow all booking instructions exactly

NVA secures early access and pursues VIP opportunities, but families must complete hotel bookings to support the team's acceptance.

ALL hotel reservations for the season must be completed by:

• End of October / Beginning of November

Most hotel reservations:

• Only requires a credit card
• Can be canceled later if needed

Failure to follow hotel policies may:

• Affect team acceptance
• Affect division placement

Training Structure

Preseason (August–October)

• 1.5-hour practices
• 2 times per week

Regular Season (November–June)

• 2-hour practices
• 2 times per week
• + Weekly Strength & Agility training (Lake Nona Performance Club)
• + Position training twice per month

Membership Requirements (MANDATORY)

Parents are responsible for purchasing both required memberships:

• AAU Membership
• USAV Membership

Important:

• AAU must be purchased after August 15 for around $26
• USAV registration opens September 1  for around $70
• Membership fees are not included

Athletes cannot practice or compete without active memberships.

Failure to complete memberships will result in:

• Ineligibility for practices
• Ineligibility for tournaments
• Loss of participation until completed

Uniform & Policy Enforcement

• Uniforms are NOT included in the program cost
• Must be purchased separately through approved NVA vendors
• All items must be ordered on time and in full compliance

NVA enforces a zero-tolerance policy regarding uniforms and program rules.

All athletes and families must:

• Wear the correct and complete uniform at all times
• Follow all uniform specifications without exception
• Comply with all rules in the NVA Handbook

No exceptions will be made.

By completing registration and making payment, you are:

• Accepting the full-season contract
• Agreeing to all academy rules and policies
• Acknowledging participation is conditional upon compliance

Failure to comply may result in:

• Removal from practice
• Ineligibility for tournaments
• Loss of participation without refund

Commitment & Expectations

This is a full-season contract.

• No quitting
• Financial obligation applies for the full season
• Accepting a spot removes the opportunity from another athlete

If payment is not completed:

• The athlete is not registered
• Spot may be offered to another player

Academic Expectations

Athletes must:

• Be highly organized
• Maintain strong academic performance

Typical weekly balance:

• ~5–6 hours of volleyball
• ~15–20+ hours available for schoolwork

Missing practice due to poor planning is not acceptable.

Lifestyle Expectation

At this level:

• Volleyball must be prioritized over other activities
• Athletes must be disciplined and committed

This is a family commitment.

NVA provides:

• High-level coaching
• Elite structure
• Competitive opportunities

Families must:
match that level of commitment

• $3,865.50 (June payment)

Payment Plans

(All include $525 non-refundable deposit)

• Registration is not valid
• Spot may be reassigned immediately 

Mandatory Picture Day Instructions

Participation in Picture Day is mandatory for all athletes.

This is the only official picture session for the season.

Requirements

All athletes must:

• Attend on the scheduled date and time
• Arrive on time and fully prepared
• Wear the complete and correct uniform
• Follow all appearance and presentation guidelines

No Make-Up Policy

• There are NO make-up dates
• Missing Picture Day means:
  • Athlete will not be included in:
    • Team photos
    • Individual photos
    • Academy media and promotions

Agreement & Acknowledgment

By completing registration and making payment, you confirm that:

• You have read the NVA Handbook in full
• You understand all rules and expectations
• You agree to comply with all academy policies without exception

No exceptions will be made.

Enforcement

Failure to follow the handbook policies may result in:

• Removal from practice
• Ineligibility for tournaments
• Disciplinary action is determined by the academy
• Loss of participation privileges without refund
