COBA Cheerleading

We are so excited to announce the launch of our first-ever COBA Cheer Program for girls in grades K–6!

This is a wonderful opportunity for our girls to experience the excitement of cheerleading while building friendships, confidence, and skills. Cheerleaders will have the opportunity to cheer at COBA boys’ and girls’ basketball games throughout the season.  Our heart behind starting this program is to cultivate a love for cheerleading, build community among our girls,, and help develop the skills and confidence needed for those who may want to continue cheering in middle and high school and most importantly celebrate and share the love of Chris together!

Here are the details:

• Grades: K–6
• Practice: 1-2 times per week, with the day and time determined by each grade-level coach. Practices will take place Monday–Thursday at the 3–6 Lower School.
• Commitment: No more than 2 hours per week of practice plus games - no tryout required
• Practices Begin: Week of October 26
• COBA Basketball Season: Early December through February
• Games: Cheerleaders will cheer at home Worthington Christian School games only

We are incredibly excited to create this opportunity for our girls and watch them grow, encourage one another, and cheer with joy and purpose! We can't wait to get started!
